I am a licensed counselor in both Idaho and Washington states. I have been in the field of psychology for 30+ years. I use primarily cognitive-behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment, and mindfulness based cognitive therapy approaches to work with individual adults on managing emotions such as depression, anxiety, panic attacks, high stress levels, emotional breakdowns.
My approach is to address extreme thinking, automatic responses, and the physical symptoms of intense, overwhelming emotion. My goal is to help people shift from feeling ruled by their emotions to being able to live life as they choose with calm and peace.
